Hedera wallet HashPack is partnering with SODAX to bring tokenized equities and other real-world assets to its self-custodial users. The integration is designed to give HashPack users a route to Robinhood Stock Tokens, including tokenized exposure to companies such as Apple, Tesla and Nvidia.
What HashPack and SODAX Announced
HashPack and SODAX announced a partnership to support tokenized stocks and other real-world assets in the HashPack wallet. HashPack is a non-custodial wallet built for the Hedera ecosystem, while SODAX provides cross-network execution and asset infrastructure.
The integration is intended to bring a new asset category to Hedera users. Instead of leaving the wallet to access a traditional brokerage or another chain, users could eventually interact with supported tokenized assets through the HashPack environment.
The feature is still being implemented. The partnership announcement describes the planned support and access route rather than a guarantee that every asset or function is already live for every user.
| Component | Role | Current position |
|---|---|---|
| HashPack | Self-custodial Hedera wallet | Implementing support for tokenized stocks and RWAs |
| SODAX | Cross-network execution and liquidity layer | Provides the asset-access infrastructure |
| Robinhood Stock Tokens | Tokenized equity products | Includes Apple, Tesla, Nvidia and other assets |
| Hedera | Destination ecosystem for wallet access | Native integration is being developed |
Which Tokenized Assets Are Involved
SODAX says it has whitelisted Robinhood’s tokenized stock lineup for Hedera alongside other supported networks. The examples highlighted by the partners include AAPL, TSLA and NVDA, with additional assets expected to be added over time.
Robinhood’s Stock Tokens represent on-chain exposure to equities and are designed for eligible European users under Robinhood’s product structure. A tokenized stock may provide economic exposure without giving the holder every right attached to a direct share.
Users should review each token’s issuer, backing, custody, dividend treatment, redemption rights and jurisdictional availability. A familiar stock ticker does not by itself establish legal ownership of the underlying company.
The integration could also support other real-world assets. SODAX’s asset infrastructure is designed to connect tokenized instruments across networks, but availability depends on the specific product, issuer and compliance restrictions.
How the Hedera Integration Works
SODAX acts as a cross-network execution layer that can connect partner applications with supported assets and liquidity. HashPack is implementing the wallet interface through which Hedera users can access the products.
The intended experience is similar to using other assets in a self-custodial wallet. Users may be able to hold, send or trade supported tokenized assets alongside HBAR, USDC and other digital assets.
Cross-network infrastructure can reduce the need for users to manage multiple wallets and manually bridge assets. It can also introduce additional dependencies, including routing systems, smart contracts, liquidity providers and network messages.
Each dependency creates an operational and security surface. Users should verify the network, token contract, transaction route and fees before approving a transaction.
Why Wallet Distribution Matters
Tokenized equities need distribution as much as they need issuance and custody infrastructure. A wallet with more than one million accounts can place real-world assets in front of users who already hold and transact with digital assets.
HashPack’s position in the Hedera ecosystem may help tokenized stocks reach users without requiring them to open a separate brokerage account or switch to a different blockchain environment.
For SODAX and asset issuers, the partnership provides access to an existing community and a developer ecosystem. Wallet integrations can also allow tokenized assets to connect with decentralized applications, swaps and other on-chain services.
Distribution does not guarantee liquidity or adoption. Users need competitive pricing, reliable execution, clear legal rights and sufficient support before tokenized equities can become everyday wallet assets.
The Risks Users Should Understand
Tokenized stocks combine securities, blockchain and self-custody risks. The token may trade at a different price from the underlying equity, especially when traditional markets are closed or on-chain liquidity is limited.
Users may not receive voting rights, direct dividends or a claim on the issuer’s assets. The legal relationship can depend on an intermediary, custodian or tokenization provider.
Self-custody creates responsibility for private keys and transaction approvals. A lost recovery phrase, incorrect network or malicious contract approval can result in permanent loss.
Users should also confirm whether the product is available in their jurisdiction and whether the service has the permissions required for local securities distribution.
Bottom line: HashPack and SODAX are building a route for Hedera users to access Robinhood Stock Tokens and other real-world assets through a self-custodial wallet. The partnership broadens tokenized-equity distribution, but the feature is still being implemented and users must distinguish tokenized exposure from direct stock ownership.
